Reality Hack Number One: We live in a world of lies.

Example: World Trade Center Building Seven (WTC 7)

Larry Silverstein, the new leasor of the destroyed World Trade Center complex, stated plainly in a PBS documentary that he and the FDNY decided jointly to demolish the Solomon Brothers building, or WTC 7, late in the afternoon on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001.

This admission was made in a PBS documentary entitled "America Rebuilds" which first aired in September of 2002. Mr. Silverstein's comments came after FEMA and the Society of Civil Engineers conducted an investigation into the curious collapse of WTC 7. This study concluded that the collapse of WTC 7 was the result of fires caused by falling debris from the crumbling North Tower.

In the PBS documentary, Mr. Silverstein makes the following statement; "I remember getting a call from the (err) fire department commander, telling me that they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire, and I said, 'We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it.' And they made that decision to pull and we watched the building collapse."

"Pull it" is a common term used in the construction/demolition industry for the initiation of controlled demolition.

WTC 7 was not hit by any of the jet airliners that crashed into the World Trade Center North and South Towers. Prior to the events of September 11, 2001, no steel skyscraper had ever collapsed because of fire. Skyscraper fires, even throughout multiple stories of the buildings, do not generate high enough temperatures to weaken the structural steel components that support the multistoried skyscrapers.

If, as Mr. Silverstein states in the PBS documentary, they made a decision to pull WTC 7, what does that suggest for the total collapse of the North and South Towers? Is it possible that demolition charges were prepositioned within WTC 7? What about the twin towers?

Seven hours after the collapse of the twin towers, the 47-story skyscraper known as WTC 7 totally collapsed, in what appeared as a controlled demolition. Based on available videotape of the WTC 7 collapse, the elapsed time was equal to the time it would have taken an object to free fall from the same height due solely to the acceleration of gravity.

If, it was an internal collapse due solely to structural failure of some of the steel structural components, wouldn't the structurally supported floors have slowed the collapse time to a value greater that the free fall time due to the acceleration of gravity? No structural resistance is a key, leading indicator of controlled demolition where internal structural components are "taken out" and the building is imploded under its own weight (at a free fall rate due to the acceleration of gravity).
